DeAngelis Diamond Adds Legal Expert to Team

Christian Young has joined Naples- based DeAngelis Diamond as general counsel.

In this role, Young provides legal counsel for the company’s innovation, technology and data analytics intellectual property. Besides advising on all negotiations for construction management, program management, design-build, IPD and subcontractor agreements, he also collaborates with operations, risk management and talent teams to identify risks and implement risk mitigation strategies.

A native of Newton, Massachusetts, Young began his legal career in Boston, where he served as assistant district attorney to the South Boston division. Most recently, he was assistant general counsel for Suffolk Construction Co.

For the past 11 years, Young has worked on behalf of business executives, negotiating and drafting business and legal terms for all types of corporate contracts. He is also a seasoned trial attorney and has managed all aspects of complex construction, product liability and general liability litigation.
