GATES Announces Country Club Projects

The members of Audubon Country Club in Naples recently selected GATES Construction to build a $7 million renovation and expansion project of the club’s Courtside Café building.

The existing single-story structure will be replaced with a two-story, 18,000sf lifestyle center to include tennis and fitness operations and a new casual indoor/outdoor dining area. It was designed by Peacock + Lewis Architecture and Interior Design of North Palm Beach.

At press time, groundbreaking was imminent, with completion expected in December.

GATES also is building the new fitness center at Herons Glen Golf and Country Club in North Fort Myers.

When completed, the 5,000+ sf fitness center will be state of the art, with cardio and weight areas, and professional-grade workout equipment. Also, there will be suites for massage and physical therapy. LOTUS Architecture designed the project.
