Stevens Construction has been named construction manager of the Southwest Florida Performing Arts Center and Off the Hook Comedy Club at 11515 Bonita Beach Road S.E., in Bonita Springs. At press time, Stevens was poised to begin work on the facility.
The project involves remodeling an existing 14,000sf building and providing additional space for a performing arts facility that will offer cultural programming and room for private events. In addition to a 650-seat theater, the center is also planned to include a state-ofthe- art culinary test kitchen, broadcast center, Podcast Cafe and Off the Hook Comedy Club, originally located on Marco Island.
