Andy Carrier Joins Commercial Construction Firm

Owen-Ames – Kimball (O-A-K) added Andy Carrier, CCM, as an estimator in its Southwest Florida office. Carrier brings 39 years of experience in commercial construction, engineering, public works, land development, transportation and environmental construction management. He holds Bachelor of Science degrees in corporate management, as well as civil and environmental engineering.

Carrier recently served as a commercial construction project manager overseeing commercial construction projects and leading preconstruction and bidding efforts totaling more than $49.2 million. He previously oversaw more than 20 Florida State Parks capital projects with a combined value exceeding $25.8 million while serving with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. In his new role with O-A-K, Carrier leads preconstruction estimating, prepares detailed cost estimates, analyzes project plans and specifications, collaborates with project teams and subcontractors, and develops competitive bids for commercial construction projects throughout Southwest Florida.
