Builders Care Appoints New Executive Vice President
The nonprofit Lee BIA Builders Care named Phillip Ford, longtime executive vice president of the Lee Building Industry Association, as the nonprofit’s executive vice president. He will continue serving in his current role at Lee BIA.
As executive vice president of Builders Care, Ford oversees daily operations, works alongside staff and the board of directors to advance the organization’s mission, cultivates partnerships across the building industry and leads fundraising initiatives that will support meaningful home projects for homeowners in need.
Ford has more than 30 years of leadership experience in the home building industry. As executive vice president of the Lee BIA since 2016, he has expanded industry collaboration, launched workforce development initiatives such as Build My Future, established student internship opportunities and fostered relationships that connect the building industry with meaningful community impact. Previously, Ford was executive vice president of the Charleston Trident Home Builders Association for 14 years.
The mission of Lee BIA Builders Care is to provide emergency construction services at no cost to needy and deserving elderly and/or disabled homeowners, and their families, who cannot obtain repairs through traditional means. For more information, visit LeeBuildersCare.org.
