Regional Theatre Names New Board Chair

Florida Reper­tory Theatre has appointed Spencer Roach chair of its board of directors as the nonprofit enters its 29th season.

Roach served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2018 to 2024 following a 20-year career with the U.S. Coast Guard, where he served as a judge advocate. He graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University and earned his law degree from the University of Miami.

As chair, Roach will help strengthen community support, advance arts educa­tion and guide the Fort Myers theatre’s long-term growth.
