GCG Expands Staff, Reports Progress on Construction of Restaurant and Lounge

GCG Construction has expanded its staff by two, with the hiring of Dean Sanders as project manager and Matthew Woods as project superintendent/ assistant project manager.
Woods is currently attending Florida SouthWestern College, where he plans to earn a degree in construction management and architectural design. He has been in the construction industry for nearly 20 years and has a wide range of experience in supervision, project management, business development and sales.
Sanders has been in the local construction industry for 18 years and has extensive hands-on experience in the field. Previously, he was the vice president of a commercial HVAC company in this area and is extremely knowledgeable about mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
In other company news, GCG has completed pouring the second-floor, rooftop lounge of HaVen Gastro Lounge at the Bell Tower Shops in Fort Myers. It is the second location for the Miami Beach-based hot spot.
Teely and Lerin Byrd are the principals in charge, Andrew Solon is the senior project manager and John S. Augeri, Sr., is the project superintendent/director of safety. The design team includes Kobi Karp Architecture, Select Structural, Pistocchi Engineering, LLC, Kevatron Engineering, Inc., and TDM Consulting, Inc.
