EHC Reports Progress on Two Area Projects

EHC , Inc., has made significant progress on two major construction projects in Lee and Collier counties.
Somero Enterprises, Inc.
Development began in October on Somero’s global headquarters and training facility in the Southwest International Commerce Park in Fort Myers. General contractor Chris-Tel Construction hired EHC for earthwork, grading, import fill, concrete paving, underground utilities, striping and traffic signage.
Somero is a leading manufacturer of technologically advanced concrete placing equipment and associated machinery. Its new headquarters will feature executive offices and a training facility with an equipment warehouse, a classroom and an outside break room. There also will be covered parking, employee areas and a training ground. The approximately 14,000sf building will also include Somero’s Concrete College customer training facility.
Tuscany Pointe Phase 2
Located off Collier Boulevard, just north of Vanderbilt Beach Road in north Naples, Tuscany Pointe is EHC’s first project with homebuilder D.R. Horton. In addition to earthwork, lake excavation, rock excavation and crushing of rock, import fill for grading, and sodding for 60+ home sites, EHC provided roadway construction that included subgrade, curb, asphalt and pavement marking. The project launched last summer.
Founded by native Southwest Floridians in March of 1990, EHC is a construction company that provides preconstruction, earthwork and infrastructure services. Currently, the company has eight active projects and several in the planning stages from Sarasota County to Collier County for clients in various industries.
