Earlier this year, Fort Myers-based furniture retailer Robb & Stucky began construction on Phase I of a 125,000-squarefoot office and warehouse.

The new facility is at 16311 Lee Road, just north of Alico Road, in Fort Myers. When completed, it will serve as the company’s new headquarters, as well as a furniture storage, assembly, repair and distribution center.

Robb & Stucky acquired the 16- acre site last October for $2,789,308. John Mounce, founding principal at LandQwest Commercial represented the buyer, RSII Properties, Inc., and Trinity Commercial Group represented the seller, Formosa Commerce Center, LLC.

The retailer’s roots date back to 1915, when Virgil Robb and W.R. Lee established the founding company. Harry Stucky joined the business in 1917 and the name formally became Robb & Stucky in 1925. For more information, please visit www.robbstuckyintl.com.
