Atrium To Be Redeveloped as Technology, Innovation Hub

If the prospective buyers of The Atrium have their way, the long-time south Fort Myers office/retail center will be redeveloped as a technology hub. At press time, the 120,000+sf center, located at 8695 College Parkway at the corner of Winkler Road, was under contract to be sold to the H2 Organization on October 31.

According to H2 CEO Matt Hurley, the property will be renamed the H2 Innovation Center and will provide more than 42,000sf of co-working and incubation offices, on-site dining options, a health and fitness center, indoor and outdoor event space and more.

Construction for the project is slated to begin shortly after the sale closes and Hurley says the first tenants could move in as early as next summer.

Stevens Construction and Studio+ Architecture are leading the redevelopment efforts at the center.
