Wright Construction Group, Inc., recently completed renovations of Hammond Stadium at 14100 Ben. C. Pratt/Six Mile Cypress Parkway in Fort Myers.
The stadium opened in 1991 and was beginning to show its age. Wright Construction’s work at the facility included repairing and enhancing the fountain and its filtration system, refabricating the entryway’s metal sculptures, and revamping the concourse and surrounding stairways, including repairing corroded concrete.
Despite some unexpected additions to the project during construction, Wright Construction completed the project in just 64 days, according to schedule. As such, work at the facility was finished well before the Minnesota Twins spring training began there in February.
“Having the opportunity to be a part of the renovations and keep the park in pristine order has been an honor and a privilege,” said Fred Edman, company president.
