Donna J. Beasley Technical Academy and Heatherwood Construction Break Ground on New Facility

Heatherwood Construction Company proudly celebrated the groundbreaking of the new facility at Donna J. Beasley Technical Academy on Aug. 7.

The new facility, expected to be completed by winter 2024, will enhance the Academy’s ability to provide individualized, technology-based programs and pre-apprenticeship certifications in electrical, heating, air conditioning, and plumbing trades. The expansion underscores the Academy’s commitment to equipping at-risk students in Lee County with the skills and education needed for success in today’s economy.
