GCG Construction Adds Two Dynamic Team Members

GCG Construction has announced the recent hiring of Brian Blackwell and Jo Lucarelli.

Blackwell joins GCG Construction as a project manager, bringing over 17 years of experience in the construction industry. Blackwell is responsible for developing construction estimates and managing multiple projects simultaneously, while also delivering an exceptional level of customer service to clients. He holds a bachelor’s and an associate degree in construction management from the University of Central Missouri. Blackwell has successfully estimated and managed various high-profile projects, including the $13 million Van Otterloo Family for Learning Campus project in Immokalee, Florida, and the $33.3 million Horace O’ Bryant Middle School in Key West, Florida.

Lucarelli brings over 20 years of experience as a civil engineering technician to her new role as project manager. Lucarelli’s notable projects include the design and construction of a sanitary pump station at Starke Prison and a natural wetlands effluent treatment system in Ocala. More recently, she has worked on projects such as the new Salon Bellezza and Brightstar Care locations in Naples and a retail center in Cape Coral.
