Stevens Construction has started construction of White Pelican Villas by Sanibel Captiva Beach Resorts. White Pelican Villas will be situated on the site of the former Beachview Cottages, which were destroyed by Hurricane Ian in 2022 and will be reimagined into the new concept.
White Pelican Villas will house 22 Gulf view rooms with a variety of accommodation offerings, including ten 350sf guest villas; eleven 600sf one-bedroom villas and one 2,100sf, four-bedroom, four-bathroom deluxe villa with a full kitchen. Slated for completion in early 2026, White Pelican Villas will also feature a pool, tiki structure, event lawn, fire pits and a boardwalk to the beach.
The project was designed to withstand future storms and includes enhanced structural design, elevated construction and sustainable systems, along with a turtle-friendly environment.
