BB&T’s Pollock Promoted to Regional Leadership Role

John Pollock, CIC, BB&T Insurance Services Florida regional insurance president, has been promoted to a multi-state regional leadership position. Pollock now oversees 550 employees at more than 18 BB&T Insurance Services locations throughout his new region, which includes Florida, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.

Raised in Fort Myers, Pollock earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Eckerd College. He joined Oswald Trippe and Company (OTC) as a commercial lines processor in 1990 and rose to the position of president in 2002.
