B&I Contractors Plays Key Role in RSW Terminal Expansion

B&I Contractors, Inc., is supporting the ongoing expansion of Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) with Phase Two of RSW’s terminal expansion. The project adds a new Concourse E, accompanied by a terminal expansion that is approximately 513,000sf and includes 14 gates, nine security checkpoints and baggage claim areas.

B&I’s scope of work for Phase Two includes plumbing and mechanical throughout the building, seven mechanical rooms and an overhaul of the CEP, which consists of new cooling towers, chillers and pumps.

Phase One of the expansion includes remodeling 164,000sf of existing space and adding 117,000sf of new walkways and concessions. B&I’s scope includes plumbing and mechanical throughout the building and eight mechanical rooms, including new builds and some that will be renovated.
