Fischler Property Company has sold an iconic downtown property for $4.4 million to an international buyer.

Representing the seller, 2282 First Street, LLP, brokers Phil Fischler and Michael Curran of Fischler Property Co. negotiated and closed the deal in just 65 days. No other brokers were involved.

The landmark building at 2282 First Street and 1500 Jackson Street was constructed in 1911 and meticulously renovated by BSSW Architects in 2005. Totaling 20,733sf, it houses a mix of restaurant, retail and office tenants, including: Izzy’s Fish and Oyster, and Soni Yoga on the first floor; BSSW Architects on the second floor; and property management firm Great Jones on the second and third floors.

Because it is located in a historic preservation district, the building’s distinctive façade will not change, and Fischler says he expects the current tenants to remain in place.

Fischler Property Co. is a commercial real estate firm focused on investment, infill and redevelopment across Southwest Florida. Currently, the company represents commercial investors and developers from Toronto, Tel Aviv, São Paulo, San Francisco, Indianapolis, Cleveland, Columbus, New York, Atlanta and Miami.
