Campus Expansion Nears Completion

Owen-Ames-Kimball Company (OA- K) is nearing completion of a 31,000sf expansion at Cape Coral Technical College, located at 360 Santa Barbara Blvd. in Cape Coral. The project is scheduled for completion in time for the fall 2026 school year.

The expansion is the first major addition to the campus since it opened in 1993 and will support workforce training in high-demand skilled trades. At full capacity, the campus will serve up to 500 students annually, and it will expand dual enrollment opportunities and increase access to trade certifications for students in Southwest Florida.

“Drywall, roofing, garage doors, man doors and storefront installation are complete. Interior HVAC, fire protection and plumbing are 75% complete. Interior and exterior painting is underway.

The project remains on schedule, with a goal of receiving a Certificate of Occupancy by July 1 to allow classrooms and labs to be equipped before students arrive in August.

The expansion will add six new training areas: construction trades, welding, HVAC, automotive repair and service, marine service technology, and additional construction industry training programs.
