Chris-Tel Construction recently completed a pair of projects in Fort Myers – one residential and one academic.
The company completed Phase II of the East Pointe Expansion for the Housing Authority of the City of Fort Myers. The apartment complex is within the Greater Dunbar Neighborhood, and Phase II features a trio of three-story, multi-family buildings totaling 120,000sf. This new housing development was a collaborative effort with Parker/Mudgett/ Smith Architects that added 90 affordable housing units to the community.
In collaboration with RG Architects, Chris-Tel recently finished the campus renovation for Fort Myers Technical College for The School District of Lee County. The project consisted of interior renovations and roofing updates. In total, 11 buildings were re-roofed, totaling approximately 192,000sf. Additionally, Chris-Tel completed interior renovations across several buildings to enhance the college’s current educational offerings while also preparing for future demands. Upgrades included improvements to facilities for welding, major appliances, electrical, plumbing, automotive service repairs, cosmetology and drafting classes.
