Curran Young Construction has been selected to build the Youth Haven Therapeutic Enrichment Center, which will greatly expand Youth Haven’s mission to provide home, hope and healing to abused and neglected children and teens in Southwest Florida. A cornerstone of Youth Haven’s Building Hope for Tomorrow comprehensive capital campaign, construction of the building is slated to begin in February 2026 with an estimated completion in January 2027.
The new two-story, 22,500sf facility will serve as the heart of Youth Haven’s therapeutic campus, designed to support and empower the children and teens the organization serves. The state-of-the-art center will feature dedicated spaces for dining, therapy and recreation along with a STEAM lab, an art studio, a family visit center and a yoga and meditation studio with additional spaces for education, exercise and enrichment.
Youth Haven’s Building Hope for Tomorrow capital campaign is a transformative $20 million initiative designed to expand and elevate programs for Southwest Florida’s most vulnerable children and teens. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and Collier County’s only emergency and residential shelter for boys and girls ages 6 to 21, Youth Haven delivers comprehensive programs – including therapeutic services, trauma-informed holistic care, foster and transitional housing, and enrichment initiatives – that help every child realize their potential and have a bright future.
In addition to funding Curran Young’s construction of the Therapeutic Enrichment Center, the campaign will enhance services including mental health care, education, nutrition, life skills, family reunification and enrichment activities. The Therapeutic Enrichment Center will further Youth Haven’s mission by delivering innovative spaces that support holistic care and development.
