DeAngelis Diamond Hires Chief Risk Officer
DeAngelis Diamond has named Sergey Aghajanyan as the company’s chief risk officer. He oversees enterprise risk and insurance strategy, captive management, claims, business continuity and crisis management, along with preconstruction risk reviews, trade partner prequalification and contractual risk transfer.
Aghajanyan brings more than 15 years of risk management leadership in real estate, hospitality and construction. He previously served as vice president of risk management and insurance at AvalonBay Communities and held senior leadership roles at Drury Hotels and Hilton Worldwide.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in public safety and emergency management from Grand Canyon University and is a Certified Protection Professional.
