DeAngelis Diamond Names New Directors

DeAngelis Dia­mond announces that Nick Pair has rejoined the company as direc­tor of operations. In this role, Pair will over­see operations within the Southwest Florida market. With his exten­sive operational exper­tise and strong network of health care clients, Pair will play a pivotal role in supporting all divisions as DeAngelis Diamond continues to expand its health care project portfolio.

Pair brings over 20 years of construc­tion experience to the company, demon­strating exceptional leadership in guiding teams to achieve operational excellence on complex projects. His impressive project portfolio spans over $1 billion in construction, with key highlights includ­ing the successful delivery of the Arthrex Global Headquarters, Acadia San Juan Capestrano projects, and the Poplar Bluff Regional Replacement Hospital.

Additionally, Paris Smith-Higbie has been promoted to national director of safety and quality. In this role, Smith- Higbie will oversee the safety and qual­ity departments, working closely with the director of health and safety, Sean Dyer, to continue building upon our strong foun­dation in these critical areas. This collabora­tion will ensure teams remain equipped with the tools, resources, and guidance needed to uphold the com­pany’s core value of “excellence and quality” and “Built on Safety” culture.

Smith-Higbie began his journey with DeAngelis Diamond in 2022 as a safety manager and soon after was promoted to director of quality assurance. He is a certified Q/C manager through the Army Corps of Engineers, certified with building envelope systems, and a former nationally certified Chief Fire Marshal. He brings 40 years of construction expe­rience to the department and team.
