EHC, Inc. has begun development of two new high-profile projects in Fort Myers.

  • MY Shower Door North American Headquarters/D3 Glass Manufacturing Plant. Located on 7.5 acres off Alico Road in Fort Myers, the headquarters campus will feature a 60,000sf multi-purpose building with the option to expand another 10,000sf. MY Shower Door will use the building for its corporate offices, training facilities and distribution. D3 Glass also will use the facility for manufacturing, tempering and laminating glass.

EHC is providing pre-construction, erosion control, clearing, pond excavation, import fill, earthwork, subgrade base, and asphalt paving as well as site concrete including sidewalks and curbing for the project, which will be built by Chris-Tel Construction.

According to MY Shower Door President and D3 Glass partner Bill Daubmann, the facility will contain Southwest Florida’s first state-of-theart glass manufacturing plant. The new space also will allow both companies to grow regionally and nationally.

  • Luminary Hotel & Co. In downtown Fort Myers, EHC is working with Manhattan Construction Group on the Luminary Hotel, adjacent to the Harborside Convention Center. The 12-story waterfront hotel is being developed by Mainsail Lodging & Development, LLC.

EHC is performing earthwork and earthwork-related activities for the hotel’s foundation. When completed, Luminary will feature a wide array of guest amenities, flexible meeting and event space, and unique dining and retail outlets.
