Encore Bank Officially Joins Lake Michigan Credit Union

Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) has completed its acquisition of Encore Bank.

All former Encore branch locations are now part of the credit union, which has grown from four to 10 Florida locations since 2015. Tom Ray, previously the president and CEO of Encore Bank, is the president of LMCU’s Southwest Florida region.

Under the direction of Sandy Jelinksi, president and CEO, LMCU provides a full range of personal and commercial financial services to its members. Credit union membership is available to anyone who lives, works or attends school in a community served by LMCU.

As the largest credit union in Michigan, LMCU boasts more than 421,000 members, 1,300+ employees and a total of 53 branch locations. In addition to assets exceeding $6 billion, it also has a mortgage-serviced portfolio of more than $10 billion.
