Flanders Named CEO of Edison & Ford Estates

Architect and former Fort Myers councilman Michael A. Flanders is the new president and CEO of the Edison & Ford Winter Estates.

Flanders has 30 years of master site planning experience and assisted in the design and construction of downtown Fort Myers’ streetscapes as part of its revitalization. He is well known for preserving local historic designations and designing structures compatible with Southwest Florida’s environment.

A graduate of Fort Myers High School, Flanders holds a Bachelor of Design degree from the University of Florida and a Master of Architecture degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute. He has owned an architectural firm in downtown Fort Myers since 1984.
