Fort Myers Attorneys Receive Certifications

Two attorneys with Henderson Franklin, Starnes & Holt have been awarded distinctions recently. Edward Canterbury has been recertified as a legal expert in real estate law by the Florida Bar and Monica Schmucker has completed arbitrator training and is now a Florida Supreme Court qualified arbitrator.
Canterbury has maintained Florida Bar board certification in real estate law for more than a decade, representing a variety of clients ranging from developers to non-profit groups. He is chair of Henderson Franklin’s associate and expansion committees, and serves on the board of directors and executive committee of Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry counties.
Litigation attorney Monica Schmucker also with Henderson Franklin, earned certification as a Florida Supreme Court qualified arbiter during Mediation Week. A former deputy attorney general in Indiana, Schmucker received her undergraduate degree from Florida International University and her law degree from the University of Notre Dame.
