Gates recently broke ground on a 7,500sf retail center at 28245 Tamiami Trail S. in Bonita Springs.
The project, situated on a one-acre outparcel of Springs Plaza, entails a complete demolition of the existing structure (a former Pizza Hut) and will accommodate five new storefronts and approximately 250 feet of frontage on U.S. 41.
Art Concepts, Inc., is providing architectural design services. Completion is scheduled for this summer.
Gates has also begun work on an extensive renovation project at the Lee County Justice Center in downtown Fort Myers. BSSW Architects provided design services for the project, which involves renovating the second floor of the center and the fifth floor of the center annex. The facility will remain fully operational with minimal interruption while the work is being done. Completion is scheduled for the fall.
