Gates Construction has completed construction at Heritage Palms Golf and Country Club in Fort Myers.
The project involved building a new two-story, 14,000sf fitness center, renovating and expanding the existing clubhouse, and constructing a tennis rest/storage shelter.
Clubhouse renovations included improvements to the ballroom, bar, kitchen, pro shop, main lobby and administration area. Also, in addition to expanding the ballroom and Grille Room, an outdoor dining terrace and covered dining area were added.
Peacock + Lewis Architects provided design services.
Elsewhere, Gates Construction is poised to complete renovations at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Naples at 12200 Tamiami Trail North.
The project entailed a complete update of the hotel’s lobby and customer service area. This required the selective demolition and replacement of the front desk and lobby area finishes. Gates made the improvements with limited interruptions to the guests.
