GATES Construction added the following people to its team during the first quarter.
• Terry Gardner, Superintendent. With 25+ years in the construction industry, Gardner has experience with a wide range of commercial projects including hospitals, medical centers, colleges, and others. Gardner is based out of the company’s Bonita Springs headquarters.
• Dervin Pyfrom, Senior Superintendent. Pyfrom has more than 15 years of construction experience with various project types including multi-family, hospitality, government, retail and condominium, among others. He works out of the company’s Sarasota office.
Both Gardner and Pyfrom are responsible for daily onsite supervision of GATES’ projects, including quality control, safety, security, project close out, and transition planning. Pyfrom is based out of GATES Construction’s office in Sarasota.
• Kara Marotto, Accounts Payable Coordinator. In addition to collecting, reviewing and entering data for the firm’s accounting department, Marotto also assists with processing vendor and subcontractor payments. Her diversified accounting experience spans more than a decade. She works at GATES’ Bonita Springs office.
