Gates Construction has added Mark Card as principal of its Sarasota office. He is a state-licensed contractor with more than 30 years of construction industry experience as a contractor and developer, much of it in Sarasota and the surrounding counties.
Over the years, Card has worked on a variety of project types, including assisted living, retail, office, government, education, healthcare, hospitality, commercial and multi-family.
Prior to joining Gates, Card owned and operated Storie Construction Group, a general contracting and construction management firm in Sarasota. Gates will absorb the firm’s personnel and resources.
Card graduated from Bowling Green State University and received B.S. degrees in construction management and architectural/environmental design technology. He has lived in Sarasota County for more than a decade and is actively involved in local non-profit organizations.
