Gates Construction has two major construction projects underway in Lee County.
The first is a renovation project at Shadow Wood Country Club in Bonita Springs. It involves construction of a new kitchen complete with new HVAC systems, food service equipment, flooring, plumbing, electrical wiring and ceiling tile. The existing layout will also be expanded. Despite the extent of construction, the kitchen will remain fully operational for the duration of the project. BSSW Architects designed the project, which is slated for completion this fall.
Gates has also begun work at Heritage Palms Golf and Country Club in Fort Myers. The project involves a new 14,000sf fitness center building, a new look for the golf pro shop and interior renovations. The improvements include a total renovation of the club’s restaurant kitchen, ballroom, bar area, main lobby, administration area and covered outdoor dining patio. Peacock and Lewis Architects provided the design.
