GCG Construction recently celebrated a pair of project milestones for developments in Southwest Florida.
The firm broke ground on a groundup retail building at Estero Crossings for Stock Development. The 5,045sf building will be the future home of Dunkin Donuts and Estero Optics, with one unit still available for lease. The building features a varied height facade with multiple towers and tiled roofs, and a wraparound drive-thru lane to service Dunkin Donuts. The project architect is GMA Architects & Planners and the civil design is by DeLisi Fitzgerald.
GCG also celebrated a milestone for a new development at Port Sanibel Marina in Fort Myers, the pouring of a 32,000sf slab and start of steel erection for a 45-foot high, dry boat storage building with 144 dry slips on 13 acres. Improvements include a new seawall, stormwater management and other site infrastructure, parking and landscape enhancements. The architectural design by PDS Architecture complements the existing “Old Florida” style. Upland site engineering is by Hole Montes and waterside engineering is by Hans Wilson & Associates.
