GCG Construction, Inc., was recently named general contractor for JDM Development’s new office building along Metro Parkway in Fort Myers.
Located at 14290 Metropolis Avenue, the 6,170sf building will offer two separate tenant spaces. The podiatry practice of Anne McNamara, DPM, will occupy approximately 3,200sf of space with the remainder for a future tenant. Construction is slated for completion this fall.
The project team includes GMA Architects & Planners, JDM Engineering, OCI Engineering and Quattrone & Associates.
GCG is also poised to build a member’s lounge and fuel dock building for MarineMax Marina at 14030 McGregor Boulevard in south Fort Myers. The project is currently in the final planning and approval phase with Lee County. When completed, the Old Florida-style building will have a porte cochere and breezeway with outdoor patio seating overlooking the Caloosahatchee River.
The project team includes GMA Architects & Planners, Select Structural, OCI Engineering and Community Engineering Services.
Waste Pro of Florida has also chosen GCG as the design-build contractor for the company’s new building canopy extension at its Fort Myers facility. GCG is working with DeLisi Fitzgerald to obtain a limited review development order and with Better Buildings on the steel structure. The project is expected to begin construction before the end of March.
