Henderson Franklin Adds Duo

The law firm of Hender­son, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A. has added a chief operating officer and a new associate, and also elected a stockholder to its leadership committee.

Ivy Rhinehart is chief op­erating officer and oversees all aspects of the firm’s business, administration and finance. She is a certified management accountant with more than 30 years of experience working in law firms. She received her bachelor’s degree in finance from Southern Illinois Uni­versity and is a member of the Association of Legal Ad­ministrators and Florida COO Networking Group.

Katie Kohn is an associate in the firm’s Divorce, Marital and Family Law Department, and is based in the Naples office. Kohn has more than a decade of trial experience guiding clients through family law issues, which include di­vorce, child support, custody and adoption. She is admit­ted to practice in Florida and New York state courts and is a member of the Collier Bar Association. Kohn received an undergraduate degree from Middlebury College and law de­gree from St.John’s University School of Law.

Additionally, Stockholder David Hamilton Roos was elected to the firm’s Execu­tive Committee, his second appointment. Roos joined the firm in 2003 and works in the firm’s Fort Myers office, chair­ing the Workers’ Compensation Department and representing insurance carriers, third-party administrators and employers in the defense of workers’ com­pensation claims. Roos received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida and his law degree from Nova Southeastern University.
