LandQwest Launches Mentoring Program For New Sales Associates

LandQwest Commercial recently introduced a structured mentorship program to help educate its newly-minted real estate professionals.
The LandQwest Junior Agent (LQJA) platform provides a one-of-akind mentorship between recently licensed real estate sales associates and leaders of LandQwest’s retail, office, land, industrial, and investment divisions.
The two-phase practicum consists of proven best practices, network engagements, structured educational courses, local market surveys and more. It is designed to assist those entering a commission-based environment by providing corporate leads and direct support in all commercial silos.
“It can be difficult to compete against tenured professionals with a longstanding book of business,” said Courtney Saksefski, chief marketing officer. “We’ve found this to be a barrier to entry for those entertaining the commercial real estate industry, so LandQwest wanted to open a door and ease this transition.” Thus far, this novel approach is succeeding.
Since being selected to pilot the LQJA program last spring, sales associate Haley Blorstad has transitioned from residential to commercial real estate. Over the last few months, the former John R. Wood agent has progressed to work on a handful of high-profile assignments and actively canvas for sale, lease, and tenant representation opportunities.
Blorstad works throughout Southwest Florida from offices in Fort Myers and Naples. Upon completion of the LQJA program, she hopes to be based out of LandQwest’s new Naples office.
As a full-service commercial real estate brokerage, LandQwest provides property management, tenant representation, leasing, sales, and consulting services to commercial clients in Southwest Florida and beyond. In addition to its offices in Naples and Fort Myers, LandQwest also operates from Orlando Haley Blorstad and Tampa.
