Also, in March, LSI brokered the first closing of a 450-acre multifamily parcel in Sarasota, which sold for $21.55 million. The property is at the northwest corner of Fruitville and Lorraine roads, and was purchased by Neal Communities of Southwest Florida from Lindvest Sarasota East, Ltd. and Lindvest Fruitville, Ltd. Located just south of Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club and University Park, the site is entitled for up to 900 residential units and a town center. Justin Thibaut, Randy Thibaut and Doug Meschko brokered the deal.
