McGarvey Completes Youth Center, Continues Work On Headquarters

Bonita-based McGarvey Development Company recently completed construction of Phase 1 of the Sonshine Community Youth Complex in Fort Myers.

The 14,040sf facility is on the Sonshine Worship Center campus at 12925 Palm Beach Boulevard. It includes a grand vestibule, offices, classrooms, full kitchen and a café.

A ribbon cutting was held in August to celebrate the youth center’s grand opening.

Construction is well underway on another McGarvey Development project, the headquarters of Quality Cabinets and Countertops Enterprises. Located on Drew Circle in Fort Myers, the facility encompasses 19,800sf and features tilt wall construction with structural steel joists and decking.

In addition to a 3,000sf office and 9,500sf cabinet shop, the building will offer 7,300sf of leasable space for two future tenants.

J.R. Evans Engineering and GMA Architects also worked on the project. It is slated for completion in November.
