Vicky Bakery, an iconic Miami-based Cuban bakery, has opened its first Southwest Florida location in Ave Maria. The franchise owner is Phong Ho, who owns two other Ave Maria eateries, Tropical Smoothie Café and OASIS The Kitchen Lounge, and was searching for a breakfast concept to add to his portfolio.
Vicky Bakery, a family-owned Cuban pastry shop founded in 1972, has more than 25 locations throughout Florida and offers pastries, sandwiches, desserts, coffee and more. Ho hopes to expand Vicky Bakery’s popularity throughout Southwest Florida and offer a robust catering business, delivering baked goods to surrounding communities.
