Owen-Ames-Kimball Company (O-A-K) has appointed Jane Gaia as a project manager in the company’s Fort Myers office.

Currently, Gaia is managing construction of The Heights Early Learning & Education Center and a major addition to Gateway Trinity Lutheran Church, as well as projects for Fort Myers Broadcasting and the Institute for Orthopedic Surgery & Sports Medicine.

With nearly 20 years of experience in project management and architecture, Gaia has supervised a wide variety of commercial projects from start to occupancy, including government, religious and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). In addition, she has served as project architect for commercial, retail, residential developments, health care and government buildings. Most recently, Gaia was project manager at the Diocese of Venice, where she oversaw projects in 10 counties and managed repairs for 52 properties damaged by Hurricane Irma.

Gaia holds her Bachelor of Science in architecture from Kent State University in Ohio.

O-A-K has provided general contracting, design-build, and construction management services in Southwest Florida since 1982 from offices in Collier and Lee counties. Its Lee County office is at 11941 Fairway Lakes Drive in Fort Myers.
