Owen-Ames-Kimball Company Appoints Estimator

Owen – Ames – Kimball Company (O-A-K), a leading general contractor with a long-standing presence in Southwest Florida, announced the appointment of Maya Suckova as an estimator.

Suckova brings over 25 years of expe­rience in architectural project design, de­velopment, and the comprehensive plan­ning and execution of complex projects.

Since joining O-A-K, Suckova has contributed to projects from 5,000sf to an entire school campus. These included Cypress Lake Middle School’s 152,735sf new school build-out, Bayshore School’s 70,277sf expansion, Bishop Verot High School’s 54,421sf new school build-out and Florida Gulf Coast University’s 13,010sf Student Union renovation.

Prior to joining O-A-K, Suckova served as an estimator and project man­ager for commercial and residential con­tractors in New York, where she directly estimated projects valued up to $100 million. Her experience also includes residential projects ranging from $1.5 million to $50 million.

She earned a Construction Manage­ment Certificate and Certificate in Proj­ect Schedule from New York University and is a licensed residential realtor. Addi­tionally, Suckova is proficient in various construction tools, including On-Screen Takeoff, Building Connected, ProEst and Plan Hub, enhancing her efficiency in estimating and project management.
