Owen-Ames-Kimball to Complete Naples Early Learning Center
Owen-Ames-Kimball Company (O-A-K) is partnering with the Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples (CMON) on Discovery School at CMON, a new play-based early learning center scheduled to open in fall 2026.
The school will serve PreK3 and PreK4 students in a renovated 6,000sf space on the museum’s second floor. Construction began in January and will create six classrooms with capacity for approximately 90 students.
O-A-K is the project contractor, working with MHK Architecture and owner’s representative Cost+Plus. The project is supported by $1.5 million in state funding, covering about 40% of the estimated $4 million construction cost.
Led by Director Jessica Campbell, Discovery School at CMON will offer a play-based curriculum that incorporates both the museum and North Collier Regional Park as learning environments. The school will operate year-round on a full-day schedule and reserve approximately 20% of seats for income-qualified families, with tuition assistance available.
Naming opportunities remain available for donors interested in supporting the project and expanding access to early childhood education in Southwest Florida.
