PBS Contractors has completed a pair of commercial projects in Naples and Bonita Springs.
The company finished a 20,455sf retail space for Sunshine Ace Hardware at Founders Square in North Naples. The new store features full-service paint, grilling and fishing departments, as well as a wide selection of power and hand tools, hardware, lawn and garden supplies, plumbing fixtures, outdoor living accessories, gifts and supplies for DIYers. It is the first Sunshine Ace Hardware to have a drive-thru for picking up online orders.
Family-owned and operated since 1958, Sunshine Ace has expanded from its first store in Naples to multiple locations across Collier, Lee, Charlotte, Manatee and Pinellas counties. The newest hardware store, located at 8850 Founders Square Drive, Suite 235 in North Naples, will be the company’s fifth in Collier.
PBS Contractors also has wrapped up construction of Sports Challenge America at Bonita Springs Poker Room. The project was completed in collaboration with JMDG Architecture, Hole Montes, Structural Select and other local trade partners.
The first-of-its-kind sports complex, located at 28010 Race Track Road in Bonita Springs, offers a six-lane bowling alley and five simulator rooms allowing guests to pick from numerous golf courses worldwide, soccer, shooting and more. There is a par-3 challenge hole, a football field goal kicking challenge, a basketball full-court shot challenge, a soccer goal challenge and a baseball pitching challenge. The venue also features a private room for personal or business events, indoor and outdoor seating, and a bar that offers food and beverages. Southwest Florida Enterprises owns the entire 100-acre property that includes the Bonita Springs Poker Room and Brass Tap, which opened in 2020 and was also completed by PBS Contractors.
