Private Equity Group Moves Closer to Murdock Purchase

Fort Myersbased Private Equity Group has made a second $500,000 deposit to Charlotte County as part of the company’s contractual agreement to purchase 452 acres in Murdock Village.

The latest deposit, made at the successful conclusion of Private Equity Group’s due-diligence period, brings the company’s total deposits with Charlotte County to $1 million. Private Equity Group’s plan includes the development of market-priced residences including single-family detached homes, townhomes, villas, condos and rental apartments.
