Resort Waterpark Opens on Captiva

South Seas on Captiva Island has opened Captiva Landing, a vibrant new waterpark destination designed to elevate family-friendly experiences and redefine island recreation. Completed by Curran Young Construction, Captiva Landing spans just over 2.5 acres of immersive freshwater fun and is exclusively available to guests and owners with Club Captiva access.

Anchored at the south end of South Seas, Captiva Landing features a dynamic collection of experience zones, including food and beverage offerings, tailored to every age and interest:

Bottlenose Bay – A whimsical splash zone with six thrilling water slides, tipping buckets and water cannons.

Gulfstream Lazy River – A tranquil escape where guests can drift beneath swaying palms and sunny skies.

The Cove – A serene retreat offering lounging and uninterrupted relaxation.

Flippers – A playful quick-service restaurant serving craveable favorites like burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches and soft-serve ice cream.

The Arcade – A retro-inspired space with vintage pinball machines and classic games for carefree fun.

Camp-tiva – A nature-based kids club offering hands-on ecological activities within South Seas’ 330-acre wildlife preserve.

Captiva Landing joins a wave of new amenities at South Seas, including the Beach House restaurant, Harborside Italian steakhouse and a luxurious fullservice spa. These developments mark a new chapter for the resort, which has recently reopened with refreshed venues, expanded offerings and a renewed spirit following its phased recovery following the storms of the past few years.
