In a move that will significantly enhance retail accessibility for Punta Gorda residents, SREG Commercial Real Estate Development acquired a new retail development site through a $6.1 million transaction.
The acquisition includes approximately 18 gross acres, of which 10 acres offer direct road front retail commercial development land at Jones Loop Road in Punta Gorda. This acquisition marks the final sale of the overall Jones Loop project that has been piloted and positioned for sale by Terracap Management for more than 10 years.
The project has recently been branded “Punta Gorda Station” and already has spurned interest from several national brands looking to move to the area. The project is located across from ALDI and Walmart. With more than 10,000 homes already permitted or under construction in the rapidly growing area, the demand for retail spaces, restaurants and services is at an all-time high, paving the way for a new wave of commercial development.
