Sanibel Captiva Community Bank promoted Rachel Kaduk and Jim Koenen to roles as assistant vice presidents.

Kaduk was hired in 2020 as an interim loan operations specialist to assist with the Small Business Administration Payroll Protection Program. Kaduk quickly transitioned to a permanent position as a residential loan coordinator responsible for reviewing loan applications and preparing mortgage files for delivery to underwriting and in 2024 was promoted to a residential loan officer.

In 2024, Kaduk was elected to the Cape Coral City Council, serving District 7. She currently sits on several nonprofit boards, including the Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral, Guardian Angels for Special Populations and the Southwest Florida Symphony. Kaduk was recognized as a Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral “Chamber Champion” and Government Affairs Committee Member of the Year. In 2023, Kaduk received the 2023 Acts of Kindness Award at its Women of Distinction Gala.

Koenen joined the bank in 2024 as a residential loan officer. Previously, he consulted directly with loan officers at a variety of financial organizations throughout the country, including banks, credit unions and independent mortgage brokers. He has extensive residential lending experience in mortgage and consumer lending, as well as background in mortgage programs for real estate investors with expertise in jumbo loan transactions and non-qualified mortgage programs.

Koenen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business and marketing from Saint Cloud State University – Herberger Business School.

Founded in 2003, Sanibel Captiva Community Bank has eight locations open throughout Lee County. In Fort Myers, at the bank’s McGregor Branch, located at 15975 McGregor Blvd., the staff is operating out of a temporary mobile banking unit due to major flood damage to the existing building. Construction on the new building is underway and is expected to be completed in 2025. The bank recently purchased property on Fort Myers Beach for its ninth and newest location opening in 2026.
