SchenkelShultz Adds Designer to SWFL Office

SchenkelShultz Architecture has hired Nancy de La Vega, Associate AIA, as a designer to work in the firm’s Estero office. de La Vega has five years of experience in architectural and interior design with a focus on corporate, health care, commercial, educational, senior living and master planning projects.
She has been an active member of AIA Florida Southwest and currently serves as secretary of the organization. de La Vega was honored with the local chapter’s President’s Award in 2021 after contributing to the organization by updating the chapter’s exam resources, correspondence and providing guidance for licensure candidates pursuing registration. She also served as the organization’s associate director for two terms in 2021-2022.
de La Vega earned her Master of Architecture degree from Florida International University and spent time in Italy and Japan through study abroad programs. She is a LEED Green Associate accredited by the United States Green Building Council and is fluent in English and Spanish.
