Stevens Construction Adds Project Manager

Stevens Construction has expanded its Fort Myers team with the addition of project manager Chris Walczak.
Walczak has more than 12 years of commercial construction and architectural experience. Previously, he worked for a national contractor, managing projects that included the 100,000sf Moore Haven Middle-High School and the 20,000sf Community School of Naples.
Walczak attended Roger Williams University in Rhode Island, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts and Science degree with minors in architectural history and structural engineering. and his master’s degree in architecture. A LEED BD+C Accredited Professional and licensed Real Estate Sales Associate, Walczak served as an adjunct professor at Florida South- Western State College teaching courses in construction management, estimating and scheduling for three years.
At Stevens, Walczak is responsible for overseeing the management and construction of commercial projects from start to finish, ensuring that each is delivered on time and on budget. He’ll also work closely with the design team on value engineering and constructability analysis, as well as negotiate and award vendor contracts, among other duties.
