Stevens Construction has completed a 3,237sf interior renovation of a former banking branch in Naples into a world-class music education center for neurodivergent students with a strong interest in music and low to moderate support needs. Southwest Florida Music Education Center provides students with music education, life skills and growth opportunities that enrich their lives and the community.
Stevens Construction demolished the existing interior, removed three bank vaults and provided new framing, sound-proof drywall, insulation and finishes to include non-toxic paint, flooring, cabinetry and an upgraded air filtration system. The music education center includes six soundproof practice rooms, a rehearsal area, music technology laboratory, quiet room, living room, employee lounge and administrative support area.
The Stevens Construction team included Project Executive Joe Cimilluca, Project Manager Gio Cardet, Superintendent Adam Ehelebe and Project Administrator Belen Bretsnyder. Architectural services were provided by Parker Mudgett Smith Architects.
