Stevens Hires Director of Preconstruction Services

Nick Burkel has joined Stevens Construction as director of preconstruction services. In this role, he develops preliminary to final estimates for all Southwest Florida projects, overseeing project conceptualization and constructability within each client’s schedule and budget goals.

Burkel has 17 years of commercial preconstruction experience and is highly skilled in construction technologies. Throughout his career, he has provided preconstruction services for $500 million in commercial construction statewide, specializing in health care, senior living, municipality and hospitality projects.

Burkel earned his bachelor’s degree in building construction management from East Carolina University.
